Sprint car adjustable rear brake hub safety spacer is designed to go between the inboard hub and rear to keep the rotor from possibly sliding in under centrifugal forces. We have designed 2 different types of spacers to fit your rear axles. Our blue locking spacer is splined to ensure not to move. Once you preset the adjustment to get the rotor in the center of the inboard caliper the teeth align with splines on axle to keep from moving. The black spacer is designed for the axles with no splines on the stop lip between birdcage and inboard rotor. This spacer has no splines so must have red Loctite applied to keep from moving.
